The Hive Dance Studio
The Hive Dance Studio is a New Jersey based hip-hop studio offering classes for all ages and levels. When the studio first opened in 2017, I had the privilege to design their first logo. They wanted a logo that was clean and bold. I wanted to add movement to the shapes, along with the hexagon motif.
Unofficial Project Dance Team
Unofficial Project, or "UPro," is a choreography dance team at Boston University. I created the current logo, as a play on the "UPro" nickname, as well as the "UProbot," which was already the team's unofficial mascot at the time.
Between Hours Cafe
Between Hours was a small Internet cafe in Allston, MA, also commonly called PC Cafe. They were known for their late hours, WiFi connection, and delicious Asian desserts. I designed a potential logo for them reflecting on the friendly, day to night atmosphere, along with several icons and patterns that translate to the business card, postcard, cup, and chopstick sleeve.
KFI Youth Ministry
KFI Youth Ministry is a Catholic youth group in New Jersey. For this logo I wanted to combine symbols such as the ichthus fish and cross with the letters in their name.
Patricia Huang Designs
My own personal logo is a combination of my nickname, "Cia," and a crown. Besides a cheeky nickname of "Bread Queen" given to me by my college friend, the crown symbolizes my desire to fully step into my own potential and own who I am.
